We are FENA APD (Furukawa Electric North America - Automotive Parts Division), a multinational technology company focusing on the production of parts for the automotive sector. Our parent Furukawa Electric Company is headquartered in Tokyo Japan; with its main Plant and Japanese Design Center located in Mie Japan.

FENA APD group designs, manufactures and markets electrical devices such as: Steering Roll Connectors, which support signal transfer of column switches and aid in the activation of the drivers air bag, as well as, Fuse and Relay boxes, which support electrical, environments and safety functions. Other manufactured products include Connectors, Terminals and Automotive Wire Harness Systems. FENA APD also participates in the aftermarket for both passenger cars and light duty trucks parts through its sales network.

FENA APD distributes product to a multitude of countries worldwide, maintaining high quality and delivery standards for all of its products. A strong Engineering Team supports well-engineered products, which are individually designed to satisfy our different customers' very specific requirements and applications. Our processes have been certified since 1997; and we are currently certified under ISO/TS16949:2002.

FENA APD's operations are headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan. Activities at this location include: Sales, Business Development, Engineering and Product Design, Customers' Operations, Human Resources Management, Accounts Receivable activities and Distribution.

Furukawa Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Furmex) is located in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and is our primary manufacturing site. Support operations at this facility include Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering.
